Half Day: Thonburi Klong Tour half day
You can choose between two travel times: Morning 08:00-12:00 / Afternoon 13:00-17:00.
Our tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point: MRT Sanamchai Exit 4 and accompany you till the end of the tour.
When you arrive at the pier, hop off to board a long-tail boat on the Chao Phraya River, which was once described as the 'Venice of the East'.
- The boat then sails down to Thonburi - the west side of Bangkok metropolis for a trip to the khlongs, or canals. There, you will learn through the residents about the necessity of the waterways to not only local communities’ daily life but also the creation of Bangkok and the old capital of Thonburi
- After that, proceed to Wat Arun - the Temple of Dawn, known as “Temple of Dawn”. With the unique architectural design and the breathtaking view, this incredible landmark promises visitors with the best memorable photos.
At the end of the tour your guide will transfer you back to your hotel in Bangkok

Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her.
The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available.
The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.

Hello. I am returning with a friends who has not been to Bangkok, but I have been several times. Do any of your half day canal tours....include going thru klongs across the river from city....seeing where people live and work? I saw men wearing boots and working on boats in water. ...seeing real life. Then seeing a temple area before returning to the city center. ........does your city tour include that area of Bangkok? Thank you....we are looking forward to the trip.
