Cu Chi Tunnels – tiny tunnels, like, seriously tiny. Crawled through them. Got a taste of what life was like during the war. The guide told stories, showed war things – emotional and real. Cu Chi had leftover war stuff. Guns, traps, all that. Guide shared stories that made it hit home. Felt the struggle and sacrifice of the Vietnamese people.
On the way, we drove through the countryside. Green fields, small villages – a break from the city chaos. Simple beauty that you miss sometimes.
Everything is perfect Less
This trip gave me a whole new perspective on Vietnamese culture and history.
I attended the daily prayer sessions and explored the temple grounds at Cao Dai Temple. Really enjoyed it. The Cu Chi Tunnels was also interesting too. I loved it when making my way across the forest and reaching underground like a soldier. A well-spent day.
Very interesting
The guides English was poor, extremely difficult to understand and the lunch was extremyl poor quality.
