We're so thankful for the well-planned tour that let us travel worry-free, especially with BestPrice's help in adjusting the schedule to fit our health needs.
The only problem we had on the trip was the food in Laos, which was too strong for both of us.

We really miss the ancient beauty of Luang Prabang and the colorful sights of Vientiane. We hope to come back someday, but we have many other places to visit first. Hopefully, we'll get the chance to return to these countries on another trip. Less

We spent the most of our time in Luang Prabang and the area around Champassak/Pakse. On the Mekong River, Luang Prabang is a beautiful city. The hotel staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We slept in several motels while traveling through south Laos, the Bolaven plateau, Champassak, Done Khong, and Done Daeng. These were distinctive and cozy, however we had problems with the Sinouk Coffee resort, which I will go into more detail in a another article. Our tour guide was superb. Champou went above and above to make our vacation more pleasurable and educational. He was knowledgable, accommodating, and helpful. We went to four different towns and a few neighborhood markets so we could truly get to know the locals.
The treks were all simple to moderate in difficulty, so comfortable walking or running shoes are suitable. Water was always available at the beginning of each trek thanks to the guides, but if you're going solo, carry water. Since it was January, there weren't many insects around, but if you stroll in the morning or at twilight, especially near rivers and streams, you should wear bug repellent. Less
Everything was exactly as described. Local operators all were really good.
In Luang Prabang, no times were given to us for when we would be picked up at the hotel. It would have been much better if these were on the itinerary. Sorting this out was a little messy.
