Trip itinerary

The major tourist attraction in Monywa is Mohnyin Thambuddhei Paya, a Buddhist temple with a huge stupa resembling Indonesia's Borobudur. It is said to contain over 500,000 images of Buddha. It will be our unfortable memory trip in Myanmar.

There, you will visit Than Boddhay which some compare the building to Borobudur in Indonesia, Bawdi Ta Htaung (1000 Buddhas), the building to glimmering 130 m standing Buddha. On the way, we can visit Kaung Hmu Daw Pagoda which is enormous white dome rise 64 meters. Watch the sunset on the U Bein Bridge, which is remarkable 1300m long teak wood bridge. Return to Mandalay. 3 day Ha Long Bay experience

We organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat. Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her. The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available. The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.
