Trip itinerary
Morning
Your journey begins at 8:00 from your hotel to Kampong Cham Province. Prepare yourself for a long car drive because traveling 124 km across Kandal Province takes approximately two hours.
We make a stop at Skun along the way to enjoy a well-known cuisine that all visitors have to try at Kampong Cham province: insect food.
Our next destination is the 12th-century Nokor Bachey Temple and the Bamboo Bridge which connects Koh Pen (Pen Island) to the city across the Mekong River.
What makes this bridge so special is that it is dismantled at the start of each rainy season and rebuilt when water recedes every year. It is only possible to open specifically for visits during the dry season.
Afternoon
After having lunch at a local restaurant, we will drive to Suong City to see a rubber field before returning to Phnom Penh. On the way, we would stop for visiting Phnom Penh Bros (Male Mountain), and Phnom Srey (Female Mountain).
The trip will end when we transfer you to your hotel in Phnom Penh Capital.

The trip was so fun. What I remember most was the insect food. Eating insect for the first time in the life is definitely the experience that terrifying, but at the same time interesting.
Also, the Nokor Bachey Temple is gorgeous.
