Enjoyable Family Private Trip to Thailand 9 days

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, your family will be welcomed by our guide, then we will transfer you to the hotel in the City Centre for checking in. You will have free time at leisure for the rest of the day.

NOTE: Hotel check-in time is at 14:00. If you want to secure an early check-in, an additional charge will be applied.

Morning

After breakfast at the hotel, you will start to discover the highlights of Bangkok on the second day.

Our first stop is Wat Traimit - where you can witness the magnificent Golden Buddha, which stands at a height of 3 meters (9.8 feet) and weighs approximately 5.5 tons. After that,  we will make our way across the old city street to see the reclining Buddha statue at Wat Pho.

Around noon, enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

After a break, we continue to visit the Grand Palace - the most visited and remembered landmark of Thailand. The Grand Palace served as a significant royal residence until 1925 and is now used for ceremonial purposes only. We will then explore the Royal Coronation Hall, Funeral Hall, and the famous Emerald Buddha located in the complex.

Your trip continues with a long-tail boat ride along the canal to see Thai houses and typical rural life, as well as a visit to the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) before ending your day. 

At the end of the tour, our driver will drive you back to your hotel in Bangkok.

After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide and driver will pick you up, and we will depart for Damnern Saduak Floating Market. 

Along the way, we will pass the largest source of salt production in Thailand along the roadside of the highway to visit Mae Klong Market - the World’s Most Fascinating Marketplace. You can find locally grown fruits, freshly caught seafood, dried spices, peppers, and other local foods here.

We will then visit the Coconut Garden to see how the sugar is being made right from the coconut syrup of coconut flowers. 

Take a long-tail boat along a narrow canal surrounding the plantation. 

Upon our arrival at Damnern Saduak Floating Market, we can see a fascinating Thai way of life from ancient times that is still widely practiced in this area. You will have a chance to try various kinds of exotic Thai fruits, and choices of Thai handicrafts are available on the spot.

Following this trip, we depart from the Floating Market to visit the Wooden Handy Craft Factory. You will have an opportunity to observe locals produce intricate wood carving products.

At the end of the tour, your family will be transferred back to your hotel in Bangkok.

Morning

After breakfast, you will have free time until flight time. Our driver picks you up at the hotel and then transfer you to the airport to catch the flight to Chiang Mai. 

Upon arrival, our driver and guide welcome and transfer you to the hotel for checking in and relaxing at leisure.

Afternoon

In the late afternoon, you will have a chance to enjoy the super northern Thai dinner - Khantoke Dinner with charming Fon-lep (Finger dance), Fon-tein (Candle dance), and Ramwong (Candle dance).

Following Khantoke Dinner, you will have a chance to watch captivating traditional Thai shows performed by the hill tribes Akha, Yao, Meo, Lisu, and Karen.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

We start our day trip today quite early after breakfast. We will pass rolling hills, dip into steep valleys, and explore many of the villages and roadside markets along an exciting route from Chiang Mai to Mae Sai. 

Along the way, we stop at Wat Rong Khun - also known as ‘The White Temple’, a dazzling temple complex that stands out as one of the most incredible in the whole country. Witness its special bright white facade, mirrored glass decorations, and intricately-carved patterns are both distinct and arrestingly beautiful.

Next, we will head back on the road toward a charming Akha and Yao Hill Tribe village. After saying ‘hello’ to the welcoming locals, we continue our trip towards Chiang Saen and the Golden Triangle, the meeting point of Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. Here we will have a chance to enjoy the epic scenery along the Mekong River here and take a moment to capture the panoramic views with your camera.

Before heading back to Chiang Mai, our last stop is a famous market at the border town of Mae Sai. Thai locals and Burmese often shop, bargain, and even drink together in this vibrant market area. Give your feet a rest on the direct route back to Chiang Mai, we arrive back in the late afternoon.

After the trip, our driver will take you back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

After breakfast in your hotel, you will have free time to explore the captivating city of Chiang Mai. Your family can visit the ancient temples, take a leisurely stroll along the walking streets, or enjoy the delectable cuisine at local restaurants.
