In the morning, you will set off with your local guide on a walking tour to discover the ancient town of Hoi An.
The first attraction is the Museum of History and Culture, which showcases relics that span 2,000 years of Hoi An's rich history. Here, you will gain an insight into the local heritage, and view several Cham artifacts and photographs.
The journey continues with the Japanese Covered Bridge, constructed in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link it with the Chinese quarters. On the two sides of the bridge, you can stroll through the central market, and discover various fresh and dried ingredients used to create delicious Vietnamese food, at the local vendors.

Then, you will visit the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, dedicated to Thien Hau, the goddess of the sea. This is a historical and spiritual destination of Hoi An ancient town, appreciated by many foreign tourists for its richness in cultural and artistic value. Finally, the last stop of the tour is Tan Ky ancient house, which arouses the curiosity of many visitors with its unique architecture. Built more than two centuries ago, the design highlights the influence of European, Vietnamese, and Chinese styles.
At the end of the tour, you can return to the hotel to relax in the afternoon or join a cooking experience at the local market if you wish (cost not included in the package).
Optional Tour: Local Market & Cooking Class Experience
You can spend your afternoon in Hoi An's colorful local market to explore the city's specialties and unique culture. This is a buzzing but clean and neat market, where you can breathe in the aromas, and chat with the friendly local sellers.
The interesting part of the tour is that you will need to buy some ingredients at the market for your cooking workshop, accompanied by your local chef.
Before class, you will visit Tra Que, a picturesque village not far from the town center. With the introduction of friendly local farmers, you can learn more about this community farm project and traditional techniques, including seaweed fertilization.
Then, the cooking class begins with the chef guiding you through several home-style recipes, including a savory pancake wrapped in rice paper. Once finished, you can savor your dishes.
