Morning

At 08:00, our tour guide will see you in the lobby of your hotel and escort you by car to the pier, where a luxurious speedboat awaits.

At 08:15, the boat departs, taking you from the bustling cityscape of Saigon into the lush green tributaries of the Mekong Delta. When you glide through the narrow canals, a light breakfast will be served, setting the tone for the adventures ahead.

We make a first quick stop at the beautiful Tuong Van Pagoda, one of Ho Chi Minh City's most famous pagodas. Here, the tour guide will share the significance of Buddhism in the lives of Mekong Delta inhabitants. 

From there, we then change direction to visit a vibrant riverside market teeming with local specialties. It is a lively, colorful scene where you can shop for unique items, sample tropical fruits, and immerse yourself in the daily rhythms of the locals.

We will encounter beautiful fruit orchards and verdant rice fields lining the waterways, creating a serene and idyllic atmosphere. The journey later on moves to the winding canals of the Thu Thua area, allowing you to chill under the cool shade of a canopy of foliage when you drift along lazily.

Next, depending on the route, we will have two options to choose between to experience authentic village life:

• Option 1: We will visit a traditional riverside house and get a chance to see giant Burmese pythons kept as pets. We go to nearby paddies and stop at a farmhouse to savor fresh coconuts and sample distinctive Mekong whisky.
• Option 2: We will take a trip to a local merchant and taste a wide range of products, including Mekong whisky and wine. We walk along the riverbanks to rural Vietnamese home, explore the village, and enjoy coconuts freshly picked from the trees. On the way, there are many chances to learn some interesting insights about the Mekong Delta people's life.

NOTE: Tours are flexible, so the guide may combine parts from both routes.

At 12:30, a delicious traditional lunch is prepared at a restaurant, showcasing the typical regional cuisine that makes the Mekong Delta famous for travelers worldwide.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, we will head over to a Buddhist-run orphanage, where you can interact with the cute children and get to know their living area. This heartfelt stop is followed by a transfer to the Cao Dai Temple, a standout and sophisticated religious structure blending various symbols and saints from inside to outside.

NOTE: Remember that the temple is usually closed to visitors, so you can only see it from the outside.

At 14:30, it is time to get on our luxury speedboat for the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy the views as you bid farewell to the Mekong Delta. Arrive back at the pier at 16:00, and a car will take you back to your hotel, finishing an extraordinary day.

You will be picked up by a vintage Jeep, ready to explore the historical and cultural gems of Ho Chi Minh City. 

Our first destination for today will be the Reunification Palace, often considered a symbol of the country's resilience and cultural essence. This architectural masterpiece has witnessed pivotal moments in Vietnam's past and remains a cornerstone of the nation's heritage.

Next, the Jeep will take us to the Saigon Central Post Office, a famous structure designed by Gustave Eiffel in the 1880s. Its grand architecture stands as a testament to Vietnam's French colonial history. Near it is the Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral. Its striking bell towers rise to 58 meters, creating an awe-inspiring skyline in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. 

Continuing the trip, we will make our way to the War Remnants Museum, where you can delve into Vietnam’s history through its extensive collection of war relics, including military equipment and powerful exhibits. In the courtyard, larger artifacts like an F5A fighter jet and a UH1-Huey helicopter are on display, providing a tangible connection to the past.

A serene interlude waits for us at the Emperor Jade Pagoda, a 100-year-old temple built by the Chinese Cantonese community, which gained worldwide recognition after being visited by President Obama in 2016. It is one of the top spiritual sites in Ho Chi Minh City.

As your Jeep tour progresses, we will pass by the Former U.S. Embassy, a significant architectural and political spot constructed between 1965 and 1967. This structure symbolizes an era of profound change and was of great importance during the Vietnam War.

Our next stop will be the elegant Saigon Opera House, an architectural masterpiece from 1897 by a French architect. Renowned for its classic design and grandeur, it remains a premier venue for cultural performances in Vietnam.

Along the way, you will also pass through hustle and bustle streets such as Dong Khoi Street, a hub of luxury and high-value real estate, and the lively Nguyen Hue Walking Street, adorned with greenery, mist-emitting systems, and over 200 trees, making it a refreshing highlight in the city.

Later in the day, you will depart for Hanoi on a flight and get set to embark on the next chapter of your luxury adventure.

On the morning of Day 4, at 08:00, you will be collected from your hotel in the Old Quarter. The schedule starts with a visit to the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam), the first university in Vietnam, originally a school for princes and royal descendants, but later transformed into an institution for high-achieving commoners.

Next, we will visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a symbolic landmark for Hanoians. As you approach the pagoda, you will get a sense of the deep historical connection it holds for the people of the city. The quiet surroundings combined with the pagoda’s one-of-a-kind design will transport you to a bygone era, invoking gratitude for those who shaped this remarkable land.

NOTE: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museums are closed on Mondays & Fridays and from Jun - Aug. You can only take photographs from the outside.

This afternoon, we will come to see the Museum of Ethnology, a special museum dedicated to Vietnam's 54 officially recognized ethnic groups. While here, you will have the chance to view a vast array of artifacts, films, and photographs. 

These exhibits offer a glimpse into the daily lives, customs, clothing, and agricultural practices of various ethnic minorities across the country, deepening your understanding of Vietnam's cultural diversity. 

After an enriching day of discovery, we will come back to the Old Quarter. You will say goodbye to our guide and we will drop you off at your hotel.

Your day starts with a pick-up from your hotel in the Old Quarter between 08:00 and 08:30. A comfortable drive will take you along the brand-new Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway, heading to the port.

Once you get to Halong Bay, you will be invited to board the luxury cruise, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing beverage. During this time, the cruise manager will provide a detailed briefing and important safety instructions to ensure you have a safe, enjoyable, and hassle-free experience.

By noon, you will arrive at the cruise port and disembark. From there, you will be transferred to Noi Bai Airport, where a flight will take you to Siem Reap for the next leg of your journey.

We will take you to the most iconic of all temples, Angkor Wat. Built in the 12th century, this site is considered by art historians as the epitome of classical Khmer art and architecture. As you walk through its galleries, you will witness awe-inspiring artworks that narrate stories from ancient times, making it clear why Angkor Wat holds such a revered place in history.

After getting to know it, we will return to your hotel for a long relaxation.
