Morning

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, you will meet our guide and private transfer from Bangkok Airport to the hotel.

Start to check in and have some free time at leisure, or you can explore Bangkok with your family.

Morning

Your family will have a delicious breakfast at the hotel before experiencing a full day of sightseeing in Bangkok by using the city's diverse array of local transit. 

Travel to the Saphan Taksin Pier on the Chao Phraya River with your guide via Skytrain, tuk-tuk, the subway system, or local taxi, depending on your hotel's location, and start the tour with the following itinerary:

Take the ferry to Bangkok's greatest Buddhist site, the Grand Palace. Incredibly beautiful pagodas, stupas, statues, and temple buildings can be found at this tourist destination.

Visit Wat Phra Kaew, also located on the same grounds. This is where most visitors go to see the priceless Emerald Buddha, which dates back to the 14th century.

Continue our tour to the spectacular spot of the Grand Palace, which is Wat Pho. Follow your guide’s lead to the main building, housing an enormous 160-foot Reclining Buddha, depicted in his final state of illness.

Next up is Wat Suthat temple, best known for its giant red swing outside. Let's explore the temple grounds after your short drive across the Old Town in the back of a local tuk-tuk.

Stop to relax after the tour and enjoy lunch at the local restaurant.

Afternoon

Travel on to the ‘House of Bowls,’ where villagers have made alms bowls for monks for over 300 years, and a Buddha statue factory, where you can observe fascinating work being done.

Wat Saket, also called the “Golden Mount,” is the next stop on the walking trip. The temple is built atop a constructed hill, and the view from its highest point is well worth it.

Before heading back down, you might want to spend some time at the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, a museum showcasing artifacts from the Rattanakosin era.

When you are done exploring, take the local public boat at Klong Sansab back to the downtown area, where you may transfer to the BTS Sky-train and return to your hotel.

NOTE: Visitors are highly recommended to wear long pants, shoes that cover the heel, and shirts that cover the upper arm (no vests) to show respect to the Thai people.

Around 07:30, let’s start your private tour with an early morning departure, heading for the province of Ratchaburi, around 100 kilometers southwest of Bangkok.

First, you will visit Damnoen Saduak, located in this peaceful old province, which is one of the most well-known floating markets in Thailand, and the canal system may be explored at your own pace on a traditional longtail boat.

You and your kids can go for a stroll and take in the views, as well as do some souvenir shopping and try some delectable regional specialties.

After your shopping and culture fix, say goodbye to Ratchaburi and head north on the road to Kanchanaburi, home to the world-famous ‘Bridge over the River Kwai’ that was built during the Second World War.

Take your time to explore this iconic structure, together with the nearby war museum, which gives an excellent insight into the horrors that unfolded during the bridge’s construction.

Afterward, there is time to visit the poignant War Cemetery, containing the remains of 6,982 allied prisoners of the war, most of whom lost their lives during the construction of the bridge and rail route stretching to Burma.

Return back to Chiang Mai in the late afternoon and take a rest.
