Morning

08:00: Go to the Bicycle Rental Shop to get a comfortable bike and listen to the safety instructions. Then you will start your trip by crossing the Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi's first steel bridge, and take in the spectacular panorama along the way.

Ride along the Red River Bank to enjoy the tranquil countryside views and meet the local people. We'll continue riding to a local market to sample some tropical fruits before relaxing by Lotus Lake.

When you continue to visit Co Loa Ancient Citadel, you will learn about the history of national defense and nation-building under King Thuc Phan - An Duong Vuong.

Enjoy your lunch with a local family to learn about the local culture.

Afternoon

We will ride through the peaceful green paddy fields and see the stunning vista of the Red River. Later on, you will be transferred to a boat station and take a cruise on the Red River to return to Hanoi's Old Quarter.

Before returning to the hotel, we will get a cup of Egg coffee.

3 day Ha Long Bay experience

We organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat. Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her. The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available. The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.
