A Glimpse of Southern Vietnam 4 days

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, our guide and driver will kindly welcome you and transfer your group to the city center for check-in.

Morning

Fulfill your breakfast, and our guide will pick you up at around 08:00 for an exploring adventure at Cu Chi Tunnels. 

Have an overview of the war story at the Cu Chi Tunnels through a film and a guide's narration on how and why the structure was built.

Then walk into the jungle to see traps, bunkers, secret entrances, and underground hideouts.

We have a chance to discover the life of soldiers during the Vietnam War by going down the underground tunnel, watching experimental gun shooting skills. Delicious green tea and cassava will be served for you.

We will have a light lunch on the way back to Ho Chi Minh. 

Afternoon

We continue sightseeing at well-known historical landmarks in Ho Chi Minh city center.

Visit the Independence Palace, the official residence and working place of the President of the Republic of Vietnam, before April 30, 1975. Today, this place is considered a monument of Vietnam's Independence and reunification.

Our next destinations are the Old Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, both famous for the typical French colonial architecture they display.

Then we will go to The War Remnants Museum where they provide artifacts recording a fierce Vietnam War. At the final destination, Ben Thanh Market, you will be given a chance to learn about local life and culture as well as go shopping. 

When back to your hotel after a long day, the rest of the day is yours. 

NOTE: The Notre Dame Cathedral might not be included in the itinerary due to its renovation. 

Morning

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will meet you in the lobby at approximately 08:00 to begin your full-day exploration of the Mekong Delta. 

First off, get aboard a boat and sail the Ham Luong River through the entire province of Ben Tre. You will have time to observe the mangrove forests and the way of life of the inhabitants while floating along the creek. 

Following our onboard tour, we pay a visit to a workshop of making coconut products. You may find out more about the traditional items made by the natives using coconuts here. After that, relax with tea and delicious fruit in a mat-weaving house.

Proceed to drive around the fruit orchards on a "xe loi", a well-known regional motorized rickshaw, and watch as luscious agricultural products come into view before savoring your lunch. 

We will have a meal with local specialties at a restaurant for lunch.

Afternoon

After lunch, our journey continues to the next sampan boat trip to discover narrow canals. It takes about 10 -15 minutes to sail through the serene mangroves. 

Our group will return to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City around 17:00 to rest and get ready for the flight the next day.

Enjoy your free time after breakfast and finish the check-out process before our driver arrives to pick you up at the airport for your flight.
