Kalaw Elephant Camp and Replantation with lunch

In the morning, Pick up from hotel and drive to Elephant camp in Magwe village, Arrival at camp, 05 minutes’ walk to get Light refreshment then continue to the river where elephant bath and you can join in feeding and bathing the elephants. Chance to see elephant families down in the valley with their bamboo houses. Exploration of the forest area on elephant back, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids around our conservation area. Have a lunch at elephant camp and then you are free to explore the surrounding area with our local trekking guide. You are also welcome to join us by planting regional trees from our nursery in our forest recovery efforts.

Returning to main camp by foot (10-20 mins) and drive back to Kalaw.

3 day Ha Long Bay experience

We organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat. Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her. The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available. The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.
