Morning

Step down to the airport, Bestprice’s tour guide and driver will welcome and bring you to the hotel for check-in.

After a short rest, the first leg of the journey is a trip to Wat Xiengthong temples - one of the largest and most gorgeous temples in the country. The temple is renowned for its outstanding construction, which features several exquisite patterns carved into the wall.

If time permits, tourists will have a short walk to enjoy the peace and watch the people's daily life.

The Royal Palace Museum is our next destination of the day. The Royal Palace was built in 1904, known as the King’s former residence.

Take your chance to conquer the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred stupa as well as admire the poetic twilight view of the Mekong River and the city.

Experience a private Baci ceremony at a local family, a century-old ritual of the Lao people, to understand more about the culture and the people here. Dinner will be served with the host family.

Morning

Viewing the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning almsgiving when the sun rises. Check out the morning market, which is close to the Royal Palace, to learn about the everyday goods that the locals have.

After the morning meal, we will transfer to the lovely Kuang Si Waterfall by tuk-tuk. Feel free to enjoy the refreshingly cool water and dive into the wildness of the forest trails. Tourists can also have the chance to see some adorable bears from the Bear Rescue Centre.

The picnic lunch will be served in the Kuang Si Waterfall, and later on, visitors will have the chance to watch colorful Lao butterflies in the Kuang Si Butterfly Park.

NOTE: The Butterfly Park is closed from 15 April to 30 June, from 01 to 14 September, and on 01 January every year.

Afternoon

Pay a trip to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center to get a picture of traditional artisans’ history and process.

Get yourself relax at a cafe overlooking the Mekong River and contemplate the beautiful sundown.

Get back to the hotel by tuk tuk. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Morning

Travel on to the Mekong River by cruise while reveling in sightseeing the lush green forests and landscape. We will pass by a few villages and head straight to the marvelous Pak Ou Cave, which is famous for thousands of distinctive Buddha statues.

Hopping into the car, we will continue our journey to Nong Khiaw, a small town along the Nam Ou River, then have lunch at the local restaurant.

Afternoon 

Visiting the historical Phathok Cave, which was used as a war shelter during the ‘Secret War’. During the 30-minute walk from Nong Khiaw, our guide will provide you with a full picture of the historical cave. Then, we will walk back to Nong Khiaw through the rice paddies. 

Don’t forget to enjoy the riverside sunset. Come back to the hotel in Nong Khiaw and spend the night.

Pak Ou Cave Is Famous For Thousands Of Distinctive Buddha Statues

Morning

We will warm up the morning with a boat trip on the quiet Nam Ou River where you explore a small Lao village. Learn about the locals and their way of life along this Northern Laos River before starting the "100 Waterfalls Adventure Trail".

Passing some small streams and rice paddy fields, tourists will arrive at the bottom of the 100 Waterfalls. Here, our tour guide will take you around the cascades and then prepare a meal in the local area so that you may eat lunch in the lush surroundings of the falls.

Afternoon

We will climb back down into the valley through a little village route at the top of the "100 Waterfalls," which will provide us with broad views of the vast Nam Ou valley.

Before returning by boat to Nong Khiaw, we will have some time to see village life in the Nam Ou riverfront community.

Have A Boat Trip On The Quiet Nam Ou River

Morning

Head to the off-the-beaten-track place Muang Hiam via Vieng Kham to explore the authentic Laos. When you arrive in Muang Hiam, check into your accommodation before taking a stroll around town to get some fresh air and learn about local culture.

Morning

We start the day by traveling to Ban Son Khua so that we may join the journey into the Nam Et–Phou Louey National Park.

Here you will experience the Nam Nern Night Safari and stay in a simple ecolodge. Learn about wildlife conservation, medicinal plants, and the history of the Secret War from your local Khmu guide.

You will meet your village guides when you arrive in Ban Son Koua, an ethnic Khmu Village, and you will then go on a brief tour to learn about the animist custom of appeasing the local spirit.

Take a long-tail boat for 1.5 hours to the park substation on the Nam Nern River, where you may see monitor lizards and other wildlife.

Have a delicious lunch prepared by the village cooking group after getting to the park substation. Tourists will receive a briefing from the staff about the on-the-ground efforts in protecting tigers and their prey.

Afternoon

Begin your afternoon adventure to the night safari. You'll pause at a salt lick before continuing your walk into the woodland. Local guides will describe the tracking methods the locals use and point out various signs of wildlife, such as tracks or scat at the salt lick.

Evening

The boats will travel further upriver to the location for your picnic dinner and bonfire. Your guides will share Khmu folktales and tales about dragons, animals, and spirits after the meal.

Start your night spotlighting excursion for 1 - 2 hours after sundown while floating down the river with engines off, depending on the amount of moonlight.

To prevent frightening wild animals, there is just one light per boat that guides utilize. Sambar Deer, Otters, and Barking Deer, as well as several types of Civets, Slow Loris, Porcupines, and Owls, may be observed. Hogbadgers, Asian golden cats, and wild dogs have also been spotted.

After the spotlighting is finished, the boats get to the night camp. A variety of insects drawn to the black light set up next to the substation can be observed before you go to sleep.

Visit The Nam Et–Phou Louey National Park

Morning

Local tour guides will accompany you on a stroll through the jungle to explain various medicinal plants and the history of the area, which was once a significant settlement during the Secret War.

After breakfast, the guides will point out species as we slowly float through the core zone with the engines off.

After that, you will be invited to try some earthen jar rice wine (lao hai). While we continue driving to Vieng Xai, we will have a short visit to the Standing Stone of Hingtang.

Additionally, we head off the beaten track to Tad Saleuy, in order to admire its scenery’s beauty. We arrive in the town of Viengxai late afternoon, check in at your basic guesthouse, and stay overnight.

Morning

You should know that numerous caverns near the village of Viengxay served as a shelter for locals and the nation's future rulers at a crucial moment in world history.

Discover the area's beauty as well as its interesting secret history by taking the audio tour, which narrates the tale of the 'hidden city' via the history that created it and conversations with locals.

Following the excursion, we will move right to Nameo's border to cross the border to Vietnam (Thanh Hoa).
