Ninh Binh Tours & Day Trips

We had a WONDERFUL visit to Ninh Binh yesterday with Mr. Tuon. Thank you for the superb arrangements!

Driver and tour guide were very nice. The drive took longer due to flooding on the streets. That was a concern we had in advance, but we’re not aware of. There was nothing they could do about it, but it impacted travel time, as there was no other way to go. All the traffic had to narrow down to the… More Driver and tour guide were very nice. There was nothing they could do about it, but it impacted travel time, as there was no other way to go. All the traffic had to narrow down to the lanes where the water wasn’t as deep. We enjoyed the temple. That would’ve been nice to know we couldn’t go in the really tall pagoda. We really enjoyed Mua Cave. We found the row boat a real tourist trap with way too many people and did not like it very much. The temple along the way also had flood issues. Would have been good to know in advance the conditions that typhoon Yagi caused, as we asked in advance as we were concerned. In places we had to take our shoes off and walk through much water. Also, the confusion with the tour and the electric cart could’ve easily been avoided if you had had more current information. The trip would’ve been better if we had more information in advance and had been able to talk to the tour guide ahead of time to know what to plan for as far as clothing shoes, etc.. especially with the impact from the weather there is much flooding in the countryside. I really enjoyed the scenery. It was very hot.

I think our guide (Mr Allen) was not too happy. Maybe the heat got to him. He didn’t engage with the group.

He kept a professional smile but was short with us. Snapped at one of the passengers when they asked for more water. Her said rudely. NO. He… More I really enjoyed the scenery. It was very hot.

He kept a professional smile but was short with us. Snapped at one of the passengers when they asked for more water. Her said rudely. NO. He was also abrupt and rude to another traveller sitting on table next to our group and he made him move so we could sit together. It was the way he said it, very abrupt and harsh. this person happened to be a fellow Australian so that didn’t go down well with me.

Unfortunately of all my guides in Vietnam and other countries. I was most disappointed in his manner. I didn’t fill in the survey as I don’t think it would have kept what I said.

But I did hike both sides of the dragon hill, enjoyed my bike and river trip under the caves. Less

Day was well spent, all family members enjoyed the day and experiences. Food was very good, all needs taken care of. Overall, a great experience on both the days. For Vietnam u r our go to person, for us and for our friends and families.
