Northeast Vietnam: Ba Be Lake & Ban Gioc Waterfall 5 days

 Morning

At 08:30, your journey starts from Hanoi. To transport to Ba Be Lake, there will be a private driver for you.

En route, when the city disappears,  a mesmerizing location celebrated for its unspoiled charm, vibrant emerald waters, majestic limestone peaks, and lush green forests begins to come into sight. 

After a moving morning, we get to Bac Kan town and rejuvenate with an early lunch featuring local dishes there.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, we will head to Ba Be Lake. It takes about two hours to get to the place. 

Upon reaching, you can either unwind after a day of travel by car, or take a leisurely stroll to discover the nearby surroundings.

Delight in distinctive flavors as you savor special dishes prepared by our amiable locals.

Morning

Prepare for a day filled with thrilling activities by indulging in a hearty breakfast at the homestay. Subsequently, embark on a private boat tour to explore the serene Ba Be Lake, the largest freshwater lake in North Vietnam.

Be captivated by the breathtaking scenery and the lush natural surroundings that grace this expansive lake.

Pause at Dau Dang Waterfall for a refreshing picnic in the woods, providing the necessary energy for the afternoon trek.

Afternoon

Kick off a trekking route to the remote Dzao Village in town. Immerse yourself in the invigorating atmosphere and appreciate the cultural richness of the local residents as well as interact with Dzao locals.

Return to the homestay and transfer back to the local house. Unwind and relish in a delightful dinner.

Morning

Enjoy a delightful breakfast, then embark on a journey to Cao Bang Province, where you can encounter diverse communities such as the Nung, H'mong, and Tho people.

Replenish your energy with lunch at a nearby restaurant in Cao Bang before completing the hotel check-in process.

Afternoon

Dedicate approximately two hours to exploring the lifestyles of local residents in a traditional village within Cao Bang City.

Morning

Discover the awe-inspiring Ban Gioc Waterfall, renowned as one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in North Vietnam. Capture lasting memories of Vietnam's most majestic and stunning waterfall with captivating photographs.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant following the morning exploration.

Afternoon

Explore the enchanting Nguom Ngao Cave, a natural marvel that promises to be a truly worthwhile experience. Marvel at the remarkable stalactites in various formations, as well as the captivating scenery accompanied by the unique sounds of wind and water echoing through the rocks.

Return to Cao Bang City and use the remainder of your day for leisure.

Commence your day with a delightful breakfast at the homestay, settle the bill, and complete the check-out process. Subsequently, our private driver will be at your service, ensuring your transfer back to Hanoi.

En route, a break will be made for a delectable local lunch experience.

Afternoon

Arrival at your hotel in Hanoi.
