Morning
Leave the hotel, get on the minivan at 08:00 for a two-hour drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels.
When reaching the site, watch an educational film about the ongoing construction before being allowed to enter the tunnels.
Then, you will have a chance to acquire knowledge of the history of the tunnels, which were once used as living quarters, as well as the history of numerous military facilities.
It’s lunchtime! Let’s spend your light lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City.
Afternoon
Pay a visit to the Reunification Palace, which used to be the residence and working place of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. In addition, on April 30, 1975, this place witnessed and marked the day Vietnam officially gained independence.
Continue your tour at the Old Post Office. Designed by French architect Gustave Eiffel, it features a grand facade, arched windows, and a vaulted ceiling inside, with intricate wrought iron and wooden details.
Moving on to Notre Dame Cathedral, built with red bricks imported from France, it showcases a Romanesque architectural style with two bell towers and a stunning interior.
Subsequently, you will move to the War Remnants Museum, which preserves more than 20,000 documents, artifacts, and movies about evidence of crimes and consequences of wars that the invading forces caused to Vietnam.
Lastly, wander around Ben Thanh Market - a must-see spot for tourists to experience the vibrant culture of Vietnam before returning to your hotel and relaxing for the rest of the day.
NOTE: Notre Dame Cathedral is anticipated to be under restoration until the year 2027. Therefore, unfortunately, tourists cannot relish the panorama view of the cathedral.

From start to finish, the trip was absolutely fantastic. Tony, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun, making every moment enjoyable. He even took photos for me since I didn’t have my phone with me, and he’s going to send them over. I’m so grateful!
Vivian, our guide for the rest of the journey, was equally wonderful. She made sure everything was smooth, informative, and fun. The whole trip has been an unforgettable experience, and I’m so happy to have had the chance to join.
I’m now back in Ho Chi Minh City, and I can’t stop thinking about how great this trip was. Huge thanks to Rosie for organizing this incredible adventure! Less
