Trip itinerary
Morning
At 08:00 You will be picked up from your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City then we will take on a 2-hour drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Along the road, we can take in the serene scenery of the surrounding area.
The Cu Chi Tunnels are a marvel of Vietnamese military innovation. The vital "secret city" of Cu Chi Tunnels served as the Vietnamese army's hiding location, supply route, and habitation during the war.
Prior to entering, you will have a chance to watch a brief introduction movie about tunnel constructions and their previous usage. Have a chance to navigate one's way through the enormous tunnel network with its intricate construction.
Later on, we will savor some regional specialties for a light lunch.
Afternoon
After lunch, we will begin our fascinating city tour in Ho Chi Minh City by paying a visit to these attractions below
The Old Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral, two iconic examples of French colonial architecture, will serve as the starting point of our journey to Ho Chi Minh City. These two structures were built in Vietnam during the time of war. Notre Dame Cathedral which was built in 1877 is considered the largest Catholic church building in Vietnam. The Old Post Office is a famous construction built by the French in the 19th century with impressive Renaissance architecture.
After that, we'll visit the Reunification Palace, one of the city's most significant structures, to observe its fusion of modern and Asian architectural design. Don't let up on your chance to take some wonderful pictures.
Later on, we will pay a visit to the Remnants Museum. This museum is a member of the Museums for World Peace system which will provide you with some harrowing illustrations of the pointlessness and cruelty of the war.
Ben Thanh Market is an iconic representation of Saigon. It was built in the 17th century from a market on the banks of the Ben Nghe River. When walking around this bustling market, you will be able to find some great and distinctive souvenirs for your loved one.
We will return to your hotel and end our trip here. Thank you for choosing us!
NOTE: Please be advised that the Cathedral of Notre Dame will be closed temporarily due to repair concerns. The tour leader will make some recommendations for suitable churches located in the surrounding area.

Jack was a brilliant tour guide today. I learned a lot about Vietnamese history from him. I am a History teacher in High School in Ireland and I will be using the information I acquired today with my students.
My boyfriend and I loved the excursion! The day trip was well-organized, with knowledgeable guides providing insights into the places we visited.
Very interesting place full of history of war.It was nice to see how are Vietnamies clever. good for history lovers.

In one day, we went from the war era to the bustling present of Ho Chi Minh City, and the contrasts were simply fascinating.
Highly recommend this tour! Less
Cu Chi Tunnels – party of 10. Dan the tour guide was very good at explaining the history and working of the Cu Chi complex and took time to answer questions. Very busy place so a bit rushed with little time to take in all the information and view things. I didn’t fit the tunnels !! (not your problem).… More Cu Chi Tunnels – party of 10. Dan the tour guide was very good at explaining the history and working of the Cu Chi complex and took time to answer questions. Very busy place so a bit rushed with little time to take in all the information and view things. I didn’t fit the tunnels !! (not your problem). The group were on a half day tour so we were dropped at a Pho restaurant for lunch in Saigon and picked up by Miss Phung for the afternoon tour.
She conducted the party of 10 around all the sights with enthusiasm, attention and much information. Notre Dame was closed for renovation and the Bang Tran market for us was nothing new (too touristy to show a SEA typical Markert but it did keep us out of a large downpour!)
The war remnant museum is fascinating but we had about an hour and we could have spent much longer there. (Miss Phung did give us the location of a Bahn Mi shop near the hotel which was excellent) Less
Chu Chi tunnel was also a good experience, except the shooting range was very noisy and a bit scary.
Thank Kate for your service. You answered our questions quickly and took care of our itinerary.
