Vientiene - Lao Pako Full Day
We start the day with a drive to Lao Pako and stop in Ban Somsamai village to take a traditional long-tail boat trip downstream towards the lodge. While navigating the Nam Ngum, we’ll be able to appreciate the wild nature and rural life along the banks of this magnificent river. We’ll stop to make a short jungle walk in a high-forest conservation area.
Our experienced guide will impart his extensive knowledge of the area’s flora and fauna while we head to the lodge. After arriving at Ban Pako, we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch in the restaurant. The afternoon begins with a ‘Jungle Bath’, and short forest walk from the lodge. You’ll be able to relax in the herbal sauna and go for a refreshing dip in the small spring water pool. You can also have a traditional Laotian massage (not incl. in price).Meals: Lunch

Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her.
The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available.
The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.
