In the morning, our guide and driver take you to the hills and across the Shan Plateau to visit Pindaya Cave, a small quiet town mainly famous for its limestone caves called Pindaya Caves where thousands of Buddha images have been consecrated for worship over the centuries. It is very famous for attractive lakeside setting, and the traditional Shan paper umbrellas that are manufactured here. Set deep in the hillsides, the caves (some of which serve as meditation chambers) which are made of white marble, bronze or plaster, and coated with gold leaf. At the entrance to the caves sits the 15 metre tall Shwe U Min Pagoda which is full of Buddha images of about 8000.
On the way, we will continue to visit the picturesque Boutaloke Lake and local handicraft workshop in which making traditional Shan Paper and Umbrella. In Late afternoon, take a fresh breath and photo stop for beautiful big banyan trees at the base of the Pindaya Hill. Then we return to hotel for take a rest.
