Yangon Excursion 3 days

In the morning, tour guide will meet you at your hotel to start your interesting discovery of Yangon. The sightseeing tour start with visit to the old colonial-style city center with City Hall, Maha Bandula Park with Independence Monument, Strand road and Yangon Jetty by Car. Then continue visit to Botataung Pagoda and Ahma Mya Nan Nwe, a devotee to the Botahtaung Pagoda. She was known to be a dragon guarding the pagoda. Later visit Bogyoke Aung San Market, closed on Monday, formally known as Scott Market, where you can buy literally all sorts of items from luxury goods, handicrafts, food stuff, clothing, jewelry to consumer goods... Afternoon, visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda with the colossal reclining Buddha. Continue to Karaweik Hall barge on the Royal lake for some photo shoots. Final stop is world famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. After tour, transfer to your hotel.

Pick up at hotel and start the trip to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda known as “Golden Rock” (about 04 hour driving from Yangon). Regular car or coaches can reach only Kingpun Base Camp at the foot of the hills, from there, take an open truck up to the top of the mountain. When you reach the main pilgrimage site, you will see the sacred boulder covered by gold leaf is balance precariously on the very edge of cliff and enjoy sunset from this unforgettable site. After tour, transfer to hotel.

Pick up at hotel, drive to an ancient capital Bago. Arrive at Bago, visit Kyaik Khat Wain Kyaung, see monks come out to collect donation (if arrive in time). Next is Shwe Tha Lyaung Reclining Buddha, Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, Kyaikpun Pagoda and Kanbawzathardi Golden Palace of Mon King Bayinnaung. Kanbawzathadi Golden Palace gives a clear picture on how grandeur and wealthy the kingdom was. Enjoy the amazing decorations and traditional architecture of this mega historical palace. Afternoon, return to Yangon and transfer to your hotel or airport. End of services.
