Restaurant and Bar
Freshly caught, flavorful local seafood and other delicacies are served at the Oriental Sails restaurant. The restaurant's atmosphere, welcoming staff, quiet water, X-breeze, and breathtaking views of the area's many islands all contribute to a wonderful dining experience.
Sundeck
Located on the rooftop, there is an opening space for guests to enjoy the nature of Halong. You can taste some drinks onboard while sightseeing the sunset with your fellows from Oriental’s sundeck view.

(+) Pros
- This wooden trash is embellished with several wooden pieces in a traditional manner.
- Visitors may still find plenty of contemporary amenities and comfortable quarters aboard the ship.
(-) Cons
- The ship needs extensive repairs. The façade and interior are both outdated and exhibit regular indications of wear and tear.
Cabin: 8.9/10
(+) Pros
- The ship's 18 medium-sized staterooms each have a nice hardwood interior.
- Families and small expedition groups will benefit most from the ground-floor location of the majority of the flats.
- On the twin or double bed with plush bedding, travelers may unwind after a long day and make use of a number of high-quality in-room amenities.

(+) Pros
- In an attractive atmosphere, visitors are exposed to some of the best local seafood, Vietnamese cuisine, and worldwide delicacies during their dining experience.
(-) Cons

Questions & Answers (5)
Hi, I'm very interested to book for my family of 5, we have 3 kids age 14, 11 and 9. Is there any room for 5 on 2nd Apr 2024? Any chance you are able to give us free private transfer one way from Hanoi to Halong Port? This would then mean the cruise is within our budget.
The room on Oriental Sail is quiet small so that if you will need 2 cabin. If you want a bigger room or connect room, you should change to Sena Cruise but the price would be more expensive. For private transfer, you can book for 16 seats van with the same price you book for bus transfer
Hello! Is it possible to meet the cruise directly at the Ha Long International Cruise Port instead of at Hanoi? And if yes, what time is it?
Yes you can. The time for check in start from 11:00 am so you should ready at the port at that time
What are the drink prices on board. Water, coffee. Softdrinks and beers, please
Water is available 1 bottle free in room. Soft drink and local bear is about 3-5 USD/lon, cocktail is about 7 USD. Wine depend on type.
Is it possible to take a suitcase (25 kg) on board or do I need to leave it in the hotel?
You should leave it at hotel cause it too hard to move around.
Does Oriental Sails Cruise have a restaurant on board?
Yes of course.

And here I have some general feedback for the entire tour that could be improved.
1. I would rather spend two nights in Hanoi and then one night at Halong Bay than one night in Hanoi, one night in Halong, and then back in Hanoi. It was a bit much packing the luggage.
2. I would like to have the option of choosing hotels without breakfast - first because some people do not like breakfast, and second, because it saves money (since the whole tour cost a lot of money for me - it was worth it, of course, but still a lot of money). And I would like to save money someplace.
I appreciated WhatsApp's schedule feature, which provided a convenient snapshot of my daily activities. The day tours were all well-organized and interesting! They provided me with as much information as possible in the shortest amount of time. Additionally, drivers and guides usually contacted me a day in advance.
I appreciated your frequent communication with me whenever I had a query or problem. Less

However, be prepared for hundreds of boats cruising beside you, as well as crowded shores and tiny boat tours. The boat was smaller, which we loved. The cabins were large, with open windows. The crew was customer-focused and provided wonderful service. The cuisine was extremely nice. The only concern was that we were unable to carry our own purchased water bottles on board. There was water to fill bottles for excursions, but we had to buy water for our meals and lodgings. I am not sure if this is standard practice among cruise lines, or if it saves Oriental Sails money. Overall, Halong Bay is a must-see; however, expect people everywhere. Less
Overall, my visit to HaLong Bay was a wonderful experience. The best part was sailing along with breathtaking views and scenery! Stunning bays and coves. The boat was comfortable, and the crew was friendly and accommodating!

My buddies and I were seeking for a triple room for our vacation of Halong Bay. That is how we were fortunate to discover Bestprice and Huyen Anh suggested us on Oriental Sails. Everything went smoothly and easily, from the booking to the pick-up in Hanoi and throughout the excursion.

We were aboard with very kind and helpful staff. We learned a lot about Vietnam and Halong Bay. Every meal we ate on the boat was fresh and wonderful! We enjoyed all of the activities along the bay and would suggest this tour to anyone! Less
