by Tripadvisor We organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Price travel for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat.
Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her.
The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available.
The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.

This provide half day tour in Pak Ou Cave that is good to discovery and it's also good rate :)
The cruise is spacious for passengers. We came to “Pak Ou Caves” after cruising for about 2 hours. On the way, we saw river village life, stunning mountain, and also animals on the river bank. After that, we stopped by Ban Muang Keo, and gain new knowledge about how the Lao whisky is made. The trip… More The cruise is spacious for passengers. We came to “Pak Ou Caves” after cruising for about 2 hours. On the way, we saw river village life, stunning mountain, and also animals on the river bank. After that, we stopped by Ban Muang Keo, and gain new knowledge about how the Lao whisky is made. The trip to Pha Tad Ke Garden is interesting too, we learned how to make a bamboo stick animal.
Some people say that the top cave in Pak Ou Cave is a little dim inside, but when I went to the cave, it was lit with artificial light so it was easy to see what is inside the cave. Still, you should bring a torch light. Less
