About Mekong Eyes Explorer
Launched in 2016, Mekong Eyes Explorer is ideal for your journey in the tranquil Mekong River that links Southern Vietnam with Cambodia. The interior is designed in a colonial style, using local materials and handcrafted vintage decorations to provide the best overnight experience.
This 4-star boutique boat offers a 4-day trip to the most vibrant section of the Mekong River, where you can see the most interesting local's daily life. The cruise is designed to travel through the winding and narrow rivers and channels of the river system, which are inaccessible to bigger cruises. In that way, you can witness the hidden gem of the northern Mekong Delta.

We recently enjoyed a most luxurious and exciting trip on the Mekong River with Mekong Eyes. The meals on board were delicious and the cabins were immaculate. The manager also introduced us to local plants, people, foods, and customs on our visits to various attractions, which was very informative.
We were aboard a pretty large ship with perhaps 20 tourists and crew. We only bring hand baggage. The suitcase was left in our hotel in Saigon; otherwise, the room would have been quite crowded.
The meal was of excellent quality; only for supper did they attempt to serve European cuisine. They're better at Vietnamese, and they should focus on that. The crew was kind and helpful, thank you.
I chose to cruise from Phnom Penh to HCMC over the alternative of flying HCMC and driving to explore the Mekong Delta. More time to relax, but also more money.

The vessel is new, spick, and stylish in comparison to some of the other quainter-looking "junks" converted grain barges I saw, I was very pleased with my choice. These other vessels may appear adorable, but space is restricted and comfort is compromised. They are not as well-equipped as this ship. Less
A relaxing 3-night excursion on the Mekong Delta. The cuisine and hospitality on board were exceptional. The guide, Jonathan, could not have been more helpful and was more than eager to share his wide knowledge of the region and Vietnam with anybody who asked.

We chose Mekong Eyes 2 Explorer. A fantastic luxury vessel made for the Mekong. It was nice, the food was delicious, the staff/crew was fantastic, and our guide Chook was great! Our accommodation was roomy, with a double bed and a single roll-away for our child! Excellent rear-facing balcony with seclusion! The excursions were fantastic, especially the village musicians and cycling around the island, as well as the rice wine and sweet factory tours.
We were only disappointed that we couldn't stay longer and take the journey to Cambodia! The rain was falling hard but only impacted our village walk on day 1. Highly recommended! Less
