Full-day: Excursion to Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc
Morning
07:30 - 08:00: You will be picked up at your hotel (in Hanoi Old Quarter) and hit on the road to Ninh Binh by shuttle bus. As you travel, make sure to stop and take in the peaceful sights of the countryside in the area.
Tam Coc is a beautiful area, where you embark on a journey on a bamboo boat rowed by locals that will take you all the way around the large river and will last for 2 hours.
Proceed with the rest of your trip downriver on the Ngo Dong River, where we will be surprised by the stunning view of the charming rice paddy fields.
Explore the limestone karst formations contained within three big caves, followed by a meandering excursion via rice fields and temples en route to and from the caves
At noon, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon
You will visit Hoa Lu - the ancient capital of Vietnam which is recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage.
Pay a visit to the Temple of King Dinh and Kinh Le and light the incense. You can see the amazing architecture of the temple with delicate wood and stone carvings created by Vietnamese artists in the 17th century
18:00: you will come back to your accommodation in Hanoi Old Quarter

I attended the Day Tour from Hanoi to Hoa Lu and Tam Coc
When we arrived, it was raining, but we still walked to enjoy the lovely view.
We proceed to Tam Coc by local boats, and we can enjoy the magnificent and stunning views of Tam Coc; these sights provide for lasting memories of our trip.
I recently had the best trip ever to Vietnam. Ninh Binh is stunning. Everything was well-prepared and the tour guide is great.
