Angkor Silk Farm was created by the National Silk Centre. Artisans Angkor, dedicated to revitalizing and preserving traditional art practices in Cambodia, was founded to become a vocational organism for people trained by the National Silk Centre. The organization now features over twenty silk workshops all across Siem Reap Province. Besides fulfilling the role of a social business, Angkor Silk Farm Siem Reap is known as the place where the finest silk fabrics and accessories in the industry are produced.

Upon arrival, you will meet a guide who will then take you on a free tour discovering the entirety of the silk-weaving process, which will answer all your questions about the quality of Cambodia-made silk. To begin with, there are mulberry trees that maintain the diet of silkworms, raw cocoons soaked in hot water, complex processes of dyeing threads, and the Cambodian Ikat weaving technique. Visitors will appreciate the appealing mulberry plantation setting and amaze at the artisans in action, making silk threads with the most skillful and time-consuming process to create the desired pattern. At the end of the guided tour, you will be in awe by the complexity with which silk was made.
