Some charge you 1 USD for the transit to the bus station. Most buses from Ho Chi Minh to Ben Tre depart from Mien Tay bus station and drop off at the city centre of Ben Tre. From Ben Tre bus station, you will need to catch another bus to your destination.

Buses to Ben Tre from Ho Chi Minh city run every 15 minutes from 6:00 to 19:00. The bus ticket ranges from 3 USD to 5 USD, depending on the kind of seat or transportation. There can be a surcharge of 7USD if you travel on public holidays.
