If you go on a regular day, it’s unnecessary to book a return ticket, but on weekends or holidays you should book tickets for the return, because normally there are no tickets available.

Tourism in Hon Son island hasn’t been promoted much so the number of resorts, homestays and hotels is still limited. And Bai Da – Hon Son resort (Bai Da Chai resort) is an outstanding resort that you shouldn’t miss.

This resort offers you lots of sites which help you produce stunning photos. There are different types of room for tourists’ requirement. Single room with 2 single beds: 600.000VND/night; Single room with double bed (for 2 persons): 400 – 550.000VND/night and VIP room with double bed (for 2 persons): 750.000VND/night (3 sea views).

All types of room have sea view except the one which charges 400.000VND/night and are equipped with air conditioner, Wifi, hot water, personal items,… (Inform room service in case of lack of something). When you check in, you will receive 2 bottles of water free of charge/room.

Double room with 2 doubles beds (4 persons): 750.000VND/night. Customers are surcharged from 100.000 – 150.000VND/person for all rooms depending on the time.

There are 5 beaches: Bai Bang, Bai Nha, Bai Thien Thue, Bai Gieng and Bai Bac. They are all pristine, fresh with white sand stretching endlessly and the shadow of coconuts. Among those beaches, Bai Bang is the most beautiful.

There are 7 mountains located on this island, including Ma Thien Lanh (not to be confused with Ma Thien Lanh in Tay Ninh), the highest peak with 450 meters above sea level. Getting to Ma Thien Lanh is easy with thousands of stairs instead of the trails.

In the evening you can go to the pier to visit and eat. Or you can have a BBQ party at the resort. Sea food on the island is extremely fresh, with all kinds of grilled sea-chestnus with grease and onion, boiled crab, grilled fish, squid, dog conch...
