Morning
Have a tasty breakfast at the hotel; then at 08:00, you will be transferred to Cai Be and visit Com Candy Craft Village, where you can see the process of making candy nuggets and try freshly baked sweet nuggets.
Then, visit a bee farm to experience many exciting activities here, such as enjoying freshly made honey tea to relax, and witnessing the daily life of local people in the gardens.
Leave the bee farm, the tour guide will bring you to Tan Phong Islet and experience garden tourism in a neighboring orchard to enjoy unique tropical fruits like durian, rambutan, longan, and more (seasonal) and try to pick them on your own.

Next, visitors come to a local house and listen to the live performance of "Don Ca Tai Tu" - a classic kind of Vietnamese folk music and enjoy a cup of tea and welcome fruit of the host.
Get on a small rowing boat through small canals to get to Mekong Ecolodge for checking in, and then you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon
You can have a nap or walk around the campus to explore the fruit and flower gardens of the Ecolodge. Here, guests can pick and eat fruits for free on the spot.
Afterward, participate in a local daily activity called "ditch fishing hook”. You will use a traditional fishing tool and try to catch some fish in the ditch and go to the garden to pick vegetables to prepare for dinner.

Then, it would be best if you took a shower before helping the homestay's local chef make dinner with the fresh fish you have just caught.
Enjoy your fantastic dinner and stay overnight at the homestay.

Some of our favorite places were Hoi An and Hanoi. Each city had its own vibe, and we really enjoyed exploring both. We also did a Vespa tour in Hoi An and a motorcycle food tour in Ho Chi Minh City — both were such fun experiences and a great way to see the cities from a different angle. We'd definitely book with those companies again.
The full-day tour in Hanoi and our trip to Ninh Binh and Tam Coc were big highlights. Tam Coc, especially, was absolutely beautiful — peaceful boat rides through the rice fields and limestone mountains. And our two-night cruise in Ha Long Bay was the perfect amount of time to really take in the beauty and relax. We were glad we stayed longer than just one night. The visit to the Cu Chi tunnels was also super interesting — learning about the history there was eye-opening.
Looking back, we probably would’ve skipped the beach day in Hoi An. The beach wasn’t very clean, and we didn’t enjoy it as much as we’d hoped. The town itself, however, was lovely — we actually wish we had more time there instead. That was on us though — we had asked for some beach time, but now we know for next time!
One part we weren’t too thrilled with was the Mekong Delta tour we did on January 19. The drive there took about three hours, and it took even longer (four hours) to get back because of traffic and a bottleneck at the bridge — though we heard another bridge is being built, which should help. The area was interesting, but sadly the river was full of trash, which really took away from the experience. Not our guide’s fault at all — Peter was great — but overall, we wouldn’t recommend that particular tour.
Speaking of guides, we had a great experience with all of them:
Tom in Hanoi was hands down one of our favorites. He had such a fun personality, always laughing and making the group feel at ease — especially when we were crossing those wild Hanoi streets! He was clearly proud of his city and super knowledgeable. One of us got sick one day and he even brought back a bowl of pho — such a thoughtful gesture. 10/10 for Tom.
Jacquie in Hoi An was also wonderful. We only had one day with her and it ended up raining pretty heavily, so we had to cut the tour short, but she handled it all really well and made sure we still got to enjoy the town. 9/10.
Peter in Ho Chi Minh City was very attentive and kind. He guided us through some really interesting places and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves and learning something new. Another solid 9/10.
All in all, we had an amazing time in Vietnam and would absolutely recommend the trip — just with a few small changes based on what we learned along the way. We’re already dreaming of coming back someday! Less
Everything about the trip was wonderful, but I did want to mention that the driver to Hue was a bit surly. I did bring this up during the trip. Other than that, the experience was excellent.

I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends who are interested in traveling to Vietnam. They prefer to book their own hotels, but perhaps you can help them with transport arrangements. I’ll suggest that they go straight to the airport after the Halong Bay cruise to make the journey easier.
Also, I’d advise skipping the day trip to the caves. I had asked for it to be included, but it really wasn’t worth the time.
On a positive note, all the guides were fantastic! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip special.
Thank you for everything—you made our trip memorable, and I’ll be sure to recommend your services to others! Less

The cruise is good, except we were hoping it would have cave & village exploration. But they only have kayaking & swimming, a bit bored. But the staff is very warm, friendly & helpful
We are all good...loved visiting your beautiful country & meeting all the kind & warm hearted people. We are heading back home today and wish we could have more time. Hope we can plan another trip here soon. Want to visit Sapa, Dalat, Da Nang, Hoi An & so many more places. It is wonderful knowing you & do stay in touch Less

It’s in an alley you get in late no place to have something to eat. A beautiful trip ended with the last impression of the hotel. It’s like a living quarters for a small family, the bed got lower back pain this morning. The shower no where to put soap for bathing. Room was stuffy. Fan mounted on the wall. I would have never ever stayed at a place like this even in the US. I travel for my job so I’m always at the Hilton Marriott Hyatt hotel. I did not eat at the hotel as I have a long flt and did not want to get my stomach sick wanted to be safe
Just wanted to let you know that the other hotel that u booked me on was not too far from the hotel that I’m staying. So I’m not sure why I was booked at the other when it was not what I expected to be 4 stars ⭐… I was really disappointed ☹ Less
